Unless previously discussed, commissioning me means agreeing with the entirity of these.1. BEFORE COMMISSIONINGProvide enough reference sheets and/or previous drawings that the characters can be seen in their entirety and their base colors can easily be identified and selected, and a clear description of the desired pieceWhen the art piece includes characers belonging to someone other than the commissioner, it is the commissioner's responsability to make sure the other party consents to the contents and making of the piece itself. If it is intended as a gift, the commissioner must know for certain the other party is comfortable with their character being used. There will be no refunds under the basis that the third party wouldn't appreciate the piece after allI will not draw the following themes and kinks in the case of NSFW:
-Political themes
-Hateful art
-Humans
-Mechas
-Extreme gore
-Cub
-Feral**In the case of feral, the art piece must explicitely include something that shows their intelligence (by speaking, using tools, A.K.A. pass the Harkness test)2. PAYMENTHalf of the total price must be paid before the process has begun. The rest of the payment will be asked before the final piece is sent. This provides security for both me and the commissioner. If desired, the commissioner may choose to do the full payment before the process has begun.In case there's an existing queue, payment won't be asked until the position of your commission has been reached3. PROCESSI will provide constant updates during the sketching process. This is the stage in which big and general changes are encouraged to be voiced. Less often, new updates will be provided during the linework / coloring / painting processes, in which small changes can still occurAs soon as the first payment is done, the drawing will be completed in less than two weeks. In case this deadline can't be reached due to college responsabilities, family issues or otherwise, the commissioner will be notified as soon as possible4. USAGE POLICYAs the artist, I retain the rights of use of the WIP's and completed piece. This is with the purpose of promoting myself comercially. Crediting and linking back to the character owner will be done whenever possible. Ownership of the characters will never be claimed by meThe commissioner is allowed to:
-Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use
-Print the art, claim the right of their character(s) but not the drawing itself.
-Use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to me.
-Post the artwork on any social media with proper credit given to meThe commissioner is not allowed to:
-Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially. (Meaning making money out of it in any way)
-Taking credit for the creation of the artwork
-Removing any watermarks and/or signatures
-Altering the artwork without my consentIn order to prevent this commercial use as described, the commissioner must purchase the commercial rights, equivalent to the 50% of the full commission.5. CANCELING & REFUNDING POLICYI have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any timeOnce the artwork has been started, the commissioner cannot ask for a refund under any circumstances. In case of refusing to pay the second half once the piece has been finished, it will not be shown to the commissioner and I retain the rights to sell the piece to a new buyer
